5 ways to make money for Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner and I don’t know about you, but I need some extra dollars. COVID really got me the opposite of motivated.

  1. Poshmark – I LOVE Poshmark. This is one of my favorite side hustles. Basically, it’s you selling clothing online. The main thing you need to do is take pictures of the clothing in good light. Poshmark is also a sharing app. So. Share all your stuff constantly, and add people as friends, and share their stuff. If you share theirs, they normally share theirs back. There are also “parties” on there you can share your stuff in. The more you share, the more likely you are to sell something. Check out Empty Hanger for all the advice we used when we started our Poshmark Journey.

  2. Wrap Presents – I am not super fancy, but a nice-looking box under my tree is pretty legit. Now I’m sure you’re wondering “How am I going to get people to pay me to wrap presents??” Now this is where you show your skillz. Just post your pictures of your presents. Tell people how much you love rapping er.. wrapping and want to help presents from “Santa” to look great. Ask people to pay for materials and a tiered wrapping guide.

  3. FB Marketplace – I used to hate Facebook Marketplace, but now I love it. I even bought a car there. It’s easier than craigslist now and you can sell in groups, and even share it to other places on FB Marketplace. I find it better when I say make an offer than getting lowballed. I get better quality offers and people actually come and pick stuff up.

  4. UberEats/DoorDash – Now this is something I haven’t done, but I have a friend that does and says it’s totally worth it. Especially with COVID, you don’t have to exchange money, you just ding-dong ditch. Check this guy out if you want all the deets

  5. Part-Time Job – So this is a classic move. Target (at the time of this article) is hiring for $15 an hour. I don’t know about you, but $6 when I was a kid was a big deal. You can also babysit, become a personal assistant, or pet sit. Check out some apps like Rover, Care.com or hireaunicorn.com
